How to test injection mold?
(1)Prior to testing, check whether the used raw materials meet the requirements. If not, please handle or replace them.
(2) according to the selected process parameters of the cylinder and the nozzle heating to proper temperature, the best way to judge whether temperature suitable, is in the nozzle and mold the mainstream way off, with lower injection pressure, slow flow in the molten material from the nozzle, observation material flow out again.
(3)When there is no bubble, hard block, silver wire, color change and other conditions in the feed flow, the feed flow is smooth and bright, which means that the temperature of the feed tube and nozzle is appropriate, and the mold can be tested.Low pressure, low temperature and long time are selected to take shape in the test mode, and then change in order of pressure, time and temperature to obtain better process parameters.
(4)If injection pressure is small and the cavity is difficult to fill, the injection pressure can be increased. When the supercharging effect is not obvious, change the temperature and time again, and increase the temperature when the extended time cannot be filled. But do not heat up too fast, too fast, so as to prevent the plastic from overheating degradation.
(5)In the production of thin and large parts with walls, high speed injection is generally adopted, and low speed injection is adopted for the parts with thick walls and small areas.
(6)When both high and low speed injection can fill the cavity, low speed injection can be used in addition to fiberglass reinforced plastics.
(7)For plastics with high viscosity and poor thermal stability, the use of slower screw rotation speed and slightly lower back pressure charging and premolding is better.
(8)For plastics with low viscosity and good thermal stability, the screw speed and slightly higher back pressure can be used.
(9)When the nozzle temperature is suitable, the nozzle fixation method can improve the productivity. However, when the nozzle temperature is too high or too low, the nozzle should be moved backward every molding cycle.
(10)The plastic parts obtained in the test mould will be inspected carefully according to the design requirements. If the parts are qualified, the mould will be considered qualified.
