                         How is the injection cycle calculated?

   In injection molding, people can estimate the predetermined injection cycle based on the calculation of relevant data, especially the weight of a certain product and the technical   parameters of the injection molding machine.If the known product weight is 210g(GPS).The technical parameters of the injection molding machine are: injection rate 196.8cm3/s, injection screw return rate (PS)40g/s, closing speed 50.8cm/s, and opening speed 66cm/s.


Thus calculated:

The closing time of the die is 25.4.

Mold (opening and closing) deceleration time is 0.5s

The mold filling time is product weight I injection rate =210 2.210 =1s (the injection rate is 196.8 * 1.06 = 210g/s in PS);The holding time is 5s;

Mold closing time (40g/s screw return rate, 5.2s time) is 16s mold opening + slow ejection time is 2s

The removal time of the product is 5s

A total of 30 s.
