Main template of continuous mould punch fixed plate, pressure plate, concave template and so on, its structure design, according to the precision of stamping products, production, mold, mold processing equipment and processing method of maintenance mode has the following three forms: (1) the whole block type, (2) the yoke type, (3) insert type.

1. The whole block

The whole block template is also called an integral structure, and its processing shape must be closed.The whole block template is mainly used for simple mold structure or precision is not high, its processing method is given priority to with machining (without heat treatment), using heat treatment of the template to discharge wire-cutting processing or machining and grinding.In the case of template size long (continuous mold), two or more pieces of one body will be used.

2. The yoke type

The central part of the yoke form is machined into a groove to assemble blocks.It is constructed according to the application requirements, and the groove can be composed of other templates.The advantages of this yoke type template are: groove machining is easy, the width of groove is adjustable, and the machining accuracy is good.But rigidity is its drawback.

The design considerations for the yoke type template are as follows:

(1). The combination of the yoke plate and the lumbar components in the middle or light fitting method, such as the combination of strong pressure and pressure, will make the yoke change.

(2). The retaining function of the yoke and furniture block is necessary to be rigid enough to withstand the side pressure and surface pressure of the block.And to make the yoke plate groove combined with massive ministry to get close with, its groove corner made escape gap processing, such as yoke plate groove corner cannot make escape gap processing, the massive part must be made to escape the gap processing.

(3). The shape of the block should be considered at the same time, and the datum must be clearly defined.In order to make the stamping process not deformation, also pay attention to the shape of each block.

(4). When the yoke plate is loaded into many pieces of block products, due to the cumulative errors of the processing of each block, the pitch is changed, and the solution is that the intermediate block is designed to be adjustable.

(5). The mould structure of the block part is assembled and combined, because the block part of the block will be subjected to the lateral pressure during the processing of the blanking, which will cause the clearance between the pieces and the inclination of the mass.This phenomenon is an important reason for stamping defects such as poor stamping size and anti-chip blocking, so there must be sufficient countermeasures.

(6). In the yoke plate fixed method of block part, in accordance with the size and shape in any of the following five kinds: a. to lock screw fixation, with key, c. b. to Xie key, d. fixed to the shoulder, e. above presses, such as feed plate fixed pressure.

3. Insert type

Template processing the concave part of round or square, will block part with embedded in the template, this template is called insert type structure, the structure of the processing accumulated less tolerance, high rigidity, good decomposition and immediately set of precision and reproducibility.Because of its easy to machining, the machining accuracy is determined by the mechanical work less, the adjustment of engineering, insert type template structure has become the mainstream in precision stamping die, but the downside is need high precision cavity processing machine.

When the continuous stamping die adopts this template structure, it is designed to make the template have high rigidity requirement.The precautions for inlaid template construction are as follows:

(1). Embedded hole processing: vertical milling machine (or fixture milling machine), integrated processing machine, jig boring machine, grinding machine, wire cutting and discharge machining machine, etc.The machining accuracy of embedded hole is used to improve the machining accuracy.

(2) fixed method of embedded parts: the determinants of the fixed method of embedded parts shall not change the precision of the machining, the tolerance of the group and decomposition, and the possibility of adjustment.There are four fixed methods for embedding :A. Fixed with screws, B. Fixed by shoulders, C. Fixed with toe block, D. The upper part is pressed tightly with plate.The embedded in a fixed method of the concave template are using force fit, at this time should be avoided due to thermal expansion processing of relaxation as a result, when using the circular die set of embedded parts processing irregular cavity should be designed rotary prevent method.

(3). Consideration of the set and decomposition of the embedded parts: the embedded parts and the machining accuracy of the holes are required to perform the group work.To get even with slight size error could be adjusted immediately in the group, also should consider the solution in advance, embedded parts processing and the specific considerations of any of the following five: a. has pushed the import department, b. with spacer adjustment pressure into the state of embedded parts and correct position, C insert bottom sets out with the cavity pressure, d. used to screw locking screws of the same size, and locking and loosening, e. group to prevent the vertical direction of the error, should design cues chamfering processing.
