How to determine the heating power of runner plate of hot runner mould?
The hot runner mould runner plate needs to be heated by the electric heater to the melt state of the plastic in the runner.The power P (kW) required by the electric heater is calculated by the following formula.
P= MC (t1-t2) /860 ηT.
M -- the weight of the runner plate (kg);
C -- the specific heat capacity of the runner plate (steel), whose value is 481.482J/ (kg•K);
T1 -- the temperature required for the runner plate;
T2 -- the starting temperature of the runner plate;
The heating efficiency is 0.3 ~ 0.5;
T -- heating time (h).
When the electric heating rod is inserted into the hole heating of the channel plate, the larger the heating rod and the hole clearance, the lower the heating efficiency.The clearance is suitable for 0.1mm.
