The flushing at the nozzle is generally due to the decomposition of the raw material and the generation of gas due to the shearing and overheating of the cold material passing through the nozzle.

The solution is to eliminate the cold material while appropriately reducing the injection speed near the gate.

Polycarbonate resin is a hydrophilic substance that easily absorbs moisture from the air during manufacturing, transportation and storage. During the plasticization process, the moisture in the plastic particles will vaporize, which will cause degradation of the resin and affect the appearance and mechanical properties of the product. Before processing, the resin can easily avoid these problems through proper drying. The drying process of polycarbonate resin is recommended to be dried at a temperature of 120 ℃ with a dew point of -20 ℃ or lower for 3 to 4 hours. The moisture content reaches or falls below 0.02% by weight.
