Schedule a Meeting
ABIS Mold Technology will be at MD&M West 2026. We're inviting customers and potential partners to book a meeting slot with our engineering and project team.
If you're working on a new product, evaluating mold suppliers, or looking to improve an existing project, a focused 30-60 minute conversation can save weeks of email exchanges. Bring your questions and drawings. We'll bring specific answers.
Walk-ins are also welcome at Hall E, Booth 3717 during show hours.

Why We Recommend Booking Your Meeting in Advance
Trade shows get busy. Without a scheduled slot, you may end up waiting or only getting a few minutes of surface-level conversation.
Pre-booking gives you:
| Dedicated time | 30-60 minutes of uninterrupted discussion |
| The right people | We'll assign engineers, project managers, or industry specialists based on your needs |
| Prepared feedback | Send drawings or specs beforehand and we'll come with initial DFM observations |
| Privacy if needed | NDA signing and private meeting space available on request |
What Can We Dive Into During Our Meeting?
Mold Engineering
- Mold structure review: parting line, ejection, gate location, venting
- Multi-cavity mold design and production risk assessment
- Two-shot molding, insert molding, overmolding feasibility
- Surface options: textures, polish grades, plating, coating
Production Planning
- Path from T0 sampling to pilot run to volume production
- Material selection: thermal, chemical, optical, flame retardant, biocompatible
- Cost breakdown: tooling, unit cost, volume optimization
- Capacity: we run two molding workshops with 28T to 1600T presses
Industry-Specific Topics
Medical: Cleanroom capability, FDA pathway, biocompatible materials, ISO 13485 documentation
Automotive: PPAP preparation, IATF 16949 support, tight tolerance work (±0.01mm)
Electronics: High-volume scaling, cosmetic requirements, fast turnaround
Bring Your Project
- 3D/2D files, samples, or competitor parts for on-the-spot review
- Current issues: warpage, sink marks, flash, fit problems, yield concerns
- Ideas for cost reduction or lead time improvement
Who Would Benefit Most from a One-on-One Conversation?
| Role | What we can cover |
|---|---|
| R&D / Engineering | DFM review, mold optimization, material advice, prototyping options |
| Procurement / Supply Chain | Supplier evaluation, capacity planning, cost comparison, partnership terms |
| OEMs / Brand Owners | Full development-to-production scope, quality audits, compliance support |
| Existing Customers | Project updates, yield improvements, cost reviews, new project discussions |
How Can We Make Booking Your Meeting Simple and Fast?
Step 1
Email mike@abismold.com or nancy@abismold.com with your preferred times (give us 2-3 options) and a brief note on what you'd like to discuss.
Step 2 (optional but helpful)
Attach any relevant files: drawings (STEP, IGES, Parasolid), product specs, volume estimates, timeline, budget range.
Step 3
We'll confirm within 24 hours and let you know who will be at the meeting.
If you can't make it to Anaheim, we're happy to set up a video call instead. Just mention that in your email.
What Should You Bring to Get the Most Valuable Feedback?
Drawings or samples (competitor parts work too)
Your priority list: cost, timeline, surface finish, material, tolerances, assembly fit
Volume estimates and launch schedule
Any current problems you're trying to solve

Project Examples
Medical: Micro Surgical Components
A medical device company needed parts under 2mm diameter with tight quality control. We developed a micro-injection process with optimized cooling. Result: 40% faster cycle time, 99.2% yield.
Automotive: EV Charging Connector
An EV manufacturer wanted to reduce weight without losing strength. We used two-shot molding with a revised material combination. Result: 25% lighter, 18% lower cost per unit.
Electronics: High-Volume Housings
A consumer electronics brand needed to scale from prototype to mass production quickly. We provided the tooling upgrade path and capacity ramp-up plan. Result: reached 1.2 million units per month within 3 months.
