What should be paid attention to in the design of adiabatic runner mould?

The design of adiabatic runner mould should pay attention to the following problems:

1) when the molding cycle is long, the insulation layer will thicken, the area of the flow passage will be reduced, and the plastic flow resistance will increase and the shape will be affected.It is only suitable for large multi-cavity mold with no more than 1min forming cycle.

2) the diameter of the runner is 13 ~ 24mm, and the temperature control of the cavity is too large.However, the injection of styrene plastic should be 30mm.

3) the gate is larger than the average gate and the length is as short as possible.

4) the transition joints between gate, shunt and main road shall be connected with smooth and rounded corners, which will help plastic flow and prevent the formation of dead zones and cause the deterioration of plastic retention.

5) before reoperation after shutdown, the solidified pouring system must be taken out of the plastic, so the runner plate is made up of two boards, and it should be locked and separated in a simple and reliable way.
