What material is SKD11 of mould material?
SKd11 is an impact resistant tool (die) steel used in Japanese alloy tool steel, and SKd11 is mainly used for wear-resistant and non-deformation molds.
Japanese tool steel is often represented by S+ steel symbol + serial number.Examples: SK1, SK7, SKS2, SKD4 steel symbols: k-carbon tool steel, kc-hollow steel, kd-alloy tool steel, kh-high-speed tool steel, ks-alloy tool steel, kt-forging tool steel.
SKD11 mould steel is a kind of universal cold mould steel with good abrasion resistance, which has good quenching property and small quenching deformation.
Main USES of SKD11 die steel:
This steel is easy to be turning and appropriate system of sharp blade, scissors, circular saw, metal stamping mold, forming roll, the general cold for a mold or cold hot for a trimming die, roller, screw, wire mould, milling cutter, blunt solicitation mode, circular cylinder, heart die system of power transformer, cutting steel sheet mill knife, steel pipe forming roller, special forming roller and precise rules, the shape of multifarious cold work tool, metallurgy, tin to make mould, plastic mould, spiral rubber mold, screw heading die, etc.
SKD11 steel specialty: universal mould steel with good abrasion resistance and good quenching
