The other is external heating, which generally involves opening a heating hole in a direction parallel to the runner, inserting a heating rod or installing a heating ring, and heating the passage from the outside of the runner. The heat efficiency of internal heating mode is high, but it is easy to cause local overheating in the hot runner system and increase the flow resistance of melt; although the external heating mode does not produce local overheating and the flow resistance in the runner is small, the flow channel is easy to process. Heating device is easy to buy, easy to maintain, but low heating efficiency.
