1. The composition of the template

The composition of the stamping die will be based on the type and composition of the die and the difference, there are two types of configuration-type structure and reverse configuration type structure. The former is the most commonly used construction, and the latter construction is mainly used for drawing forming molds or fitting special molds.

2. Specifications of the mold

(1). Die size and locking screw

The size of the template should be larger than the working area and select the standard template size. The position of the stencil locking screw is related to the type of mold and the size of the stencil. Among them, single-engineering molds are most commonly used in the four corners with locking screws, and the most standard form of work area can be widely used. The elongated molds and continuous molds are most often used in the four corners and in the middle position using the locking screws.

(2). The thickness of the template

The thickness of the template has an absolute relationship with the structure of the die, the type of stamping process, the stamping process force, and the stamping accuracy. It is difficult to determine the thickness of the mold based on theoretical calculations. Generally, it is determined by experience. The type of template thickness used in the design should be as small as possible, and the mold height and clamping height should be standardized to facilitate the procurement and inventory management.
