The die casting mould is installed on the die casting machine, which can inject liquid metal into the cavity under high pressure and protect the mold with solidification and forming of metal. It is mainly used in aluminum, zinc, copper and steel. The structure of die casting mould is similar to that of plastic injection mould. It is composed of dynamic die and mould cavity, and the core is used to make the cavity of casting. The metal is cooled and solidified in the cavity, and the mold is extracted.
The die-casting parts are generally thin and hollow, with a large number of channels and bars. The shape structure is complex, the size requirement is more accurate, and the surface is more smooth. As the metal is formed at the melting temperature, the moulding mold needs to be made of materials that are resistant to high temperature.
