What are the factors that affect the cooling time of extrusion blow molding products?
The main factors influencing the cooling time of extruded blow molding products are as follows:
(1) thermal diffusion coefficient of plastics raw materials, temperature, enthalpy and solidification characteristics of melt;
(2) wall thickness, volume, mass and shape of products;
(3) the heat conductivity of the blow mold material, the structure of the blank edge and the exhaust performance of the mold;
(4) types and parameters of cooling channels of the blow mold (surface area, distance from the mold cavity, etc.);
(5) the flow rate of the cooling fluid, inlet and outlet temperature, and the flow state of the cooling fluid
(6) accuracy of mold temperature and temperature control;
(7) the pressure and volume of air blown;
(8) the flow state of the blown air;
(9) internal cooling type, temperature and pressure of internal cooling medium;
(10) consumption of internal cooling medium and flow state in products;
(11) post cooling type.
