Forming grinding is a method of finishing surface finishing of die parts, which has the advantages of high precision and high efficiency.Forming grinding can be done in the form grinding machine, surface grinding machine, universal tool grinder, coordinate grinding machine or optical curve grinder.
The commonly used form grinding machine (MD9030), as shown in the figure below, is a form grinding machine specially for mold parts.The grinding wheel 6 is driven by the motor 5 on the grinding head 4.The grinding frame is mounted on the precision longitudinal guide 3, and can be carried out by the hydraulic transmission longitudinal movement (the grinding wheel longitudinal feed motion), and controlled by the handle 12.Rotating handwheel 1 enables the grinding head to move up and down the vertical guide 2 (grinding wheel vertical feed).In addition to manual operation, this movement can be maneuverable so that the grinding wheel can quickly approach the workpiece or quickly exit.The horizontal sliding plate of the jig table 9 is fixed with the universal clamping device 8. The longitudinal sliding plate can be used for the longitudinal movement of the precision guideway on the right side of the bed body 13 (only for maneuver adjustment).When used normally, the longitudinal movement of the universal clamping device can be tightened with the handle 11.Turn the handwheel 10 to make the universal fixture move sideways.There is a measuring platform 7 in the middle of the bed, which is used to place measuring tools, calibrate workpiece position and measure workpiece size.The tool for dressing grinding wheel can also be placed on the measuring platform when shaping grinding wheel.
