What about the sticking of injection mold

What about the sticking of injection mold?

The molds of injection molds can be divided into pre-molds and post-molds, which depends on the situation.

(1) poor polishing, such as sticking to the front mold, may be due to the fact that the back mold polishing is better than the front mold polishing. The mold tries to open the mold and directly sticks to the front mold in the production process.

(2) the slant design may be unreasonable. Theoretically, the slant of the front mold is larger than the back mold, and the slant of the back mold may also cause the product to stick to the front mold.

(3) there is a vacuum when the front mold is opened, and the product is sucked directly into the front mold, which cannot be removed from the mold normally.

(4) the post-mold sticking is probably not polished well, the slant of the stripper is too small, and there are reverse buckles on the mold.

(5) the mold temperature is too low at the beginning, and the product holds the mold too tightly.

After understanding the cause of the product sticking during mold testing and production, the defect problem of plastic mold sticking was solved.

If there is vacuum in the front mold of shell and box, the front mold should be used as exhaust needle to eliminate the influence of vacuum. Some products should also be used as exhaust needle in the back mold.If the product structure has requirements on the mold temperature, the mold temperature should be increased at the beginning of mold testing to reduce the impact of too low at the beginning on the product package.

Set reasonable injection molding process parameters for the characteristics of the plastic material of the product to reduce the possibility of mold sticking.
