1, storing
(1) wipe the inside and outside of the upper mould sleeve with a clean cloth.
(2) be careful not to scratch or dent the surface during storage.
(3) oil antirust.
2. Preparation before use
(1) clean the upper mold cover thoroughly before use.
(2) check the surface for scratches and dents.If yes, remove with oil stone.
(3) oil inside and out.
3. Matters needing attention when installing punch on upper die set
(1) clean the punch and oil its long handle.
(2) insert the punch into the bottom of the upper cover on the large station mold, and do not force it.You can't use a nylon hammer.When installed, the punch cannot be fixed by tightening the bolts on the upper die sleeve. 4. Install the upper die combination into the turret
If you want to extend the die life, the gap between the outer diameter of the upper die and the turret hole should be as small as possible.So be careful with the following procedure.
(1) clean the keyway and inner diameter of the turret hole and oil it.
(2) adjust the keyway of upper mould guide sleeve to match the key of turret hole.
(3) insert the upper sleeve guide directly into the tower hole, careful not to tilt.The upper guide sleeve should slide into the turret hole by its own weight.
(4) if the upper mould sleeve is tilted to one side, it can be knocked gently and repeatedly with soft material tools such as nylon hammer until the upper mould sleeve slides into the correct position with its own weight.
Note: do not apply force to the outer diameter of the upper mould guide sleeve, only on the top of the punch.Do not hit the top of the mould sleeve to avoid damaging the turret hole and shorten the service life of individual station.
