                             identification of plastic appearance

By observing the appearance of plastic, we can preliminarily identify the categories of plastic products: thermoplastic, thermosetting plastic or elastomer.

Generally thermoplastic plastics have two types: crystallization and amorphous.

Crystalline plastics are translucent in appearance, opacified or opaque, transparent only in a membrane state, from soft to horny.

Amorphous form is colorless commonly, when not added additive, it is all transparent, hardness from hard to horny rubber shape (this often adds plasticizer and other additives).

Thermosetting plastics are usually filled and opaque, and are transparent if not packed.

The elastomer has a rubber-like feel and has a certain tensile rate.
