How to properly maintain and use precision stamping die

If we want to better use the precision stamping die, we need to learn how to maintain the die and master the correct use method, so as to better extend the die life. Next, Shanghai pujonny will introduce the following points for you, which need your attention.

(1) it is very important to select the quality of CNC machinery, and the quality of molds should not be neglected. Before preparing the installation and use of molds, strict inspection should be made to remove dirt, and whether the guide sleeve of molds and molds are well lubricated.

(2) it is necessary to check the mechanical rotating disc and die mounting base regularly to ensure the coaxial accuracy of the upper and lower rotating disc.

(3) install the convex and concave die on the turntable according to the installation procedure of the mold, and ensure that the direction of the convex and concave die is the same, especially for the (non-circular and square) mold with the direction requirements, which should be paid more attention to prevent the installation error and reverse.

(4) after the mold of nc machine is installed, check whether the fastening screws on the base of the mold installation are correct.

(5) the mechanical mold should stop using punch and concave die when they wear, or it will rapidly expand the wear degree of the die blade, accelerate the wear of the die, and reduce the quality of punch and die life.

(6) for general moulds used in batch production, there should be backup needs, so as to rotate production and ensure production needs.

(7) stamping personnel should use soft metal (such as copper, aluminum, etc.) for installation of precision stamping molds. Do not use hard metal tapping to prevent damage to the molds during the installation process.

(8) the molds should be handled and handled with care during the delivery. Don't throw or touch the molds, so as not to damage the cutting edge and guide of the molds.

(9) the molds shall not be left and misplaced after use, and shall be put back to the designated position in time and treated with oil and rust prevention.

(10) to guarantee the service life of the mold, the inner spring of the mold should be regularly replaced to prevent the fatigue damage of the spring from affecting the use of the precision stamping mold.
