                           How to choose mould material reasonably?

1. Selection of mold materials.When selecting mould material, the choice should be made according to different production batch, process method and processing object.Long life should be used in mass production

   Die materials, such as hard alloy, high strength and toughness, high wear resistance die steel (such as YG15, YG20);Zinc alloy, bismuth tin alloy and other mould materials can be used for trial production of small batch or new products.High strength and high toughness materials (T10A) should be used for common molds that are easy to be deformed and break and fail.For the thermal forging die, materials with good toughness, strength, abrasion resistance and cold-heat fatigue resistance should be selected (e.g. 5CrMnMo).The prayer mould should be made of alloy steel with high thermal fatigue resistance and high temperature strength (e.g. 3Cr2W8V).The plastic mould should choose the material with easy cutting, compact structure and good polishing performance.In addition, in the design of punch and die, appropriate chooses different hardness or mold matching of different materials, such as the punch tool steel (e.g., T10 eight), die with high carbon high chromium steel (such as Cr12, Crl2MoV), mould service life increases 5 ~ 6 times.
