How does the size of the main channel affect the quality of injection products?
As is known to all, the main channel on the mould is the channel from the nozzle exit of the injection molding machine to the inlet of the diverging channel.The cross section shape, area and length of the main channel have some influence on the quality of injection products.If the cross-section area of the main channel is too large, the amount of recycled material will increase, the molten material will cool down slowly, and the curing time will be prolonged, which will increase the production cycle of the product -- and reduce the productivity.If the cross section of the main channel is too small, the flow resistance of the melt increases.The slow process of mold filling leads to the decrease of the flow rate and the loss of injection pressure, which increases the difficulty of filling and filling the mold cavity, and directly affects the forming quality of the product.
